A weak backdoor cold front will start to drift back north tonight as return flow develops on the backside of high pressure.

Southwest winds will steadily increase through the day Wednesday, becoming gusty with building seas overnight into Thursday.

Showers will be possible on the waters early Thursday before clearing.

Winds shift to northwesterly and may continue to be gusty through the day Thursday, which means that seas will be slow to diminish.

High pressure then builds across the waters for the end of the week and the weekend.
