{"id":11359,"date":"2015-07-28T20:48:46","date_gmt":"2015-07-28T20:48:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thenewobjectivity.com\/KAPLANTEST\/?post_type=news&#038;p=11359"},"modified":"2019-05-20T23:28:28","modified_gmt":"2019-05-20T23:28:28","slug":"garth-weiser-featured-in-vogue-paris","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/thenewobjectivity.com\/KAPLANTEST\/?news=garth-weiser-featured-in-vogue-paris","title":{"rendered":"Garth Weiser featured in Vogue Paris"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"copy-paste-block\" style=\"color: #000000;\">\n<div class=\"copy-paste-block\"><strong>Hedi Slimane reshapes Yves Saint Laurent couture<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Constructed in 1685,\u00a0<strong>Hotel Senecterre<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the jewels of Saint Germain and its classic French architecture has been meticulously restored over the last three years under the creative eye of\u00a0<strong>Hedi Slimane.<\/strong>\u00a0From the garden, returned to their original plan with the help of a historian, to the carefully sourced Age of Enlightenment chandelier, via modernist furniture by\u00a0<strong>Elizabeth Eyre de Lanux<\/strong>\u00a0and a minimalist diptych commissioned from artist\u00a0<strong>Garth Weiser<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>Saint Laurent\u00a0<\/strong>creative director has designed a space that\u2019s both timeless and perfectly aligned with the spirit of the label: a subtly twisted classicism, a heritage reinterpreted and enriched with a couture offering that has been entirely reshaped since the house closed its couture operation in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The Atelier is spread across three floors, with the Salon Couture on the first and the\u00a0<strong>Atelier Flou<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Atelier Tailleur<\/strong>\u00a0on the second and third. The one-off womens and menswear pieces, produced on the decision of the design and couture directors will all be numbered and given the iconic\u00a0<strong>Yves Saint Laurent\u00a0<\/strong>label in ivory silk, for close friends of the house only.
